Cub Scouts are young people usually aged between 8 and 10 1/2.
Cubs make up the second section of the Scouting family, between Beavers and Scouts.
During their time in the Pack, Cub Scouts will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting.
There are a range of badges available which Cub Scouts can wear on their uniforms to show everyone how well they're doing.
Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. Sometimes they will be able to go camping with the rest of the Pack and take part in all kinds of outdoor activities.
Cubs meet on a Wednesday night from 6.00pm until 7.30pm.

Akela has been with St Margarets many years now but joined the leadership from 1st Haworth.
Paul's assistant leaders include Bagheera-Liz Godfrey and some Young Leaders.

Our scouts went on a trip to Switzerland for their summer camp of 2010.

2 Explorers from St Margaret Scout Group were presented with awards by Richard Frith, the Bishop of Hull. Jamie has been voted ' East Hull Explorer' of the Year for 2010. Then Evie was presented with the "Admirals Cup" for been selected by the County DESC committee as "Young Leader" of the Year for 2010.
